Gugulethu Sofia Mbatha is known by her stage and screen name Gugu Mbatha Raw. She became popular after appearing in the BBC science fiction TV series Doctor Who. Gugu's character as Tish Jones became very well-known. Tish Jones is the younger sister of Martha Jones. Her fans loved her lively spontaneity and there was there was no turning back for Gugu from a successful career as an actor! Gugu has also appeared in various British TV and stage productions. The critics have been praising her for her role on "Belle" (2013), an English period drama, as well as "Beyond the Lights", a romantic comedy. Chelsea Joy Handler is a New Jersey native born in Livingston on February 25, 1975. Handler was the eldest of six kids in her family. Her mother worked as a housekeeper and her father was employed as a used-car dealer. Her mother came to the United States in 1958, in the form of an immigrant from Germany. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1989, and was able to die after fighting the disease for ten years. Handler grew up in a Reform Judaism family. Her father was Jewish. Handler resided in a beautiful neighborhood with a happy upbringing. When she was in her early 20s Handler moved into Los Angeles in order to explore acting. Handler was obliged to be an actress in order to survive. Handler aged 21 years of age and decided to pursue stand-up comedy full time after discovering her storytelling skills. Handler began her stand-up career joining the only female Oxygen group, who starred in a TV show known as Girls Behaving BADLY. This series was known for its secret camera and humorous jokes. The reality series ran from 2002-2005. The handler appeared in numerous shows including Weekends at D.L. The Bernie Mac Show The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler was also the correspondent of The Tonight Show. Handler gained notoriety in 2006 by hosting her E! show. named The Chelsea Handler Show. The show lasted for two seasons. Handler followed this up by doing a show in the Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour and within the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend (and HBO) have shown her stand-up performances live. In 2010 she hosted the MTV Video Music Awards 2010 were made public. It was only the second woman to ever host VMAs, after Roseanne Bar.
